Ahanu was my
first High Content. His Mom was unsocialized, and extremely fearful and he came
to me with gastrointestinal problems, guardia, & coccidia, probably caused by
her great stress in having to be so close to people while pregnant and whelping.
A sibling also had congenetive demodectic mange. He was a good boy, with a great
deal of dignity. He could also be a big butthead! He taught me alot about
respect, Winter Wolf Syndrome, trading up, and the Art of Everything In Life Is
Free. He was a monarchid and we almost lost him on the surgery table while
the Vet tried to find the missing testicle. We finally lost him on the surgeon's
table from gastric torsion (bloat) at 4 & a half years old in August of 2004.
