Woni

This photo was taken at
Indigo Mountain Nature Center of Colorado,
one of the Sanctuaries Starwolf supports.

Since early grade school Dian Lea, "Woni" has been a self taught knitter.  "Knitting gives me a sense of relaxation much like meditation.  Something I truly enjoy doing".

Also a wolf reintroduction supporter and wolfdog owner, much of her time has been spent in legislative advocacy, and proactive ownership education.

"It is a priority for me to support quality sanctuaries and rescues.  By combining my enjoyment of knitting, and my desire to contribute, I am delighted to be a member of the Starwolf crafters group.  I consider all
projects to be a work of love and commitment to the animals we support, and to those who purchase our items."

Woni is also a nationally known
Animal Communicator

A Native Californian, Kat & her Family are recent transplants to Paradise (Oregon). We are building a Community of Artists with a passion for Animals, most especially Wolves and Wolfdogs, with a side order of feral cats, goats, and endangered Ancona ducks. An advocate of Responsible Ownership, Kat has spoken out about our personal responsibility for the animals we care for at events such as the Phoenix Exotics Convention.

Kat strongly believes in the power of Positive Training and love. Half of her personal animals are from Rescue. Once upon a time, she dreamt of becoming a Sanctuary, but she soon realized she wasn't equipped to save them all. She'd rather help support those who can do it right, and do it from the background. As a self-taught website designer, she has designed several preliminary websites for Charitable organizations such as Emergency Animal Rescue and Indigo Mountain Nature Center maintaining a web presence until such time as professional design could be procured.

An avid gardener, Kat works at MGC Garden Center, and is working towards a Master Gardener's Certificate. She plans on growing medicinal herbs & ornamentals.
